A working class hero is something to be
If you want to be screwed by the powers that be
Who cut public spending and hike up the tax
As they claim unvouched expenses to play golf and relax

They'll try charge us for water that falls free from the skies
Closed down A&E's and not admit to their lies
That Roscommon would retain all the services it rendered
A pre-election promise with no value intended

It's a basic human right to have a place to call home
Yet a stealth house charge is the next levy to come
Not even in and but plans to have it increased
The working class hero's once again fleeced

The change people voted for was not for the worse
Yet Fine Gael and Labour keep robbing our purse
Fianna Fail are out and we should be glad
But Kenny's posse are just as bad

If you stop to think we voted in the same
No difference in ideology just a different name
Treaty politics are outdated and tribal
We need new direction for a future that's viable

Its time to default and burn the bondholders
Who new of the risks before the banks imploded
It will unburden the debt that has ended our sovereignty
And keep those on the breadline from the clutches of poverty

It's time for real change and not more lip service
Its time to elect representatives that serve us
A new Republic and a new proclaimation 
It's time for the people to reclaim our Nation

 They have forced Irish youth to emigrate overseas
Due to the policies of Fianna Fail, the country's gone to the wall

Then raised tax and made savage budget cuts as they milked expenses in the Dail

Brian Cowan you clown you have brought our country down
To her knees with the begging bowl to try and fill a financial hole
Caused by rogue bankers, property developing fucking wankers
And gobshites in the Dail who watched and did fuckall
Except pick up their hefty paycheck as the economy sank like a shipwreck
To the darkest depth over-burdened by national debt
Thats rising like an erection and in need of monetary correction
But we cannot control our interest rate as the ECB control our financial fate
Our sovereignty a distant dream as the EU rule supreme
By the might of Germany and France and we don't have a fucking chance
Unless we drop the Euro urgently and reclaim independent currency
Then we can default by inflation if we use our imagination
Tell the Germans and the French we are emerging from our trench
To fight their greedy interest rates and regain control of our financial fate
But we need a socialist solution and to start a revolution
So make me Taoiseach for the day................and I will lead the way!
