To her knees with the begging bowl to try and fill a financial hole
Caused by rogue bankers, property developing fucking wankers
And gobshites in the Dail who watched and did fuckall
Except pick up their hefty paycheck as the economy sank like a shipwreck
To the darkest depth over-burdened by national debt
Thats rising like an erection and in need of monetary correction
But we cannot control our interest rate as the ECB control our financial fate
Our sovereignty a distant dream as the EU rule supreme
By the might of Germany and France and we don't have a fucking chance
Unless we drop the Euro urgently and reclaim independent currency
Then we can default by inflation if we use our imagination
Tell the Germans and the French we are emerging from our trench
To fight their greedy interest rates and regain control of our financial fate
But we need a socialist solution and to start a revolution
So make me Taoiseach for the day................and I will lead the way!
